Position Summary:
Key Account Manager– works with sales and marketing group to ensure customer satisfaction, and is the in-house contact person for dedicated customer.  Must be familiar with customer service, planning, purchasing standard concepts and product development, and procedures within this specified field including trend analysis.  A great degree of creativity and problem solving is required. Demonstrated sense of urgency is a must.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead projects (New Product Development). Responsible to coordinate New products from conception to production.
Monitor changes in ordering patterns from customers.  Keeps planning and other managers aware of these trends.
Monitor shipments, invoices, customer charge backs, and compliance of shipments relative to customers’ requirements.
Assist planner(s) to accurately plan dedicated line production for assigned customer.
Monitors in transit goods into company for conversion to finished goods.
Familiarity with the SAP operating system preferred.
May assist Purchasing Manager with the buying of raw materials for dedicated production line.
May write purchase orders for raw materials purchased in support of dedicated customer’s line.

Knowledge/Experience/Skills:
Minimum requirement an Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two year college, four year degree preferred in marketing or business; minimum 2 years related experience and/or training in key account management, customer service, scheduling/planning in a manufacturing environment, product development and purchasing experience is preferred (purchasing experience not a must)..

Computer experience in Microsoft office with the ability to read and build spreadsheets in excel.

Requirements:
1.  Associates degree or greater required, four year degree preferred in marketing or business.
2.  2 + years of experience in key account management, customer service, scheduling/planning in a manufacturing environment.
3.  Computer experience in Microsoft office with the ability to read and build spreadsheets in excel.
4.  Product development and purchasing experience is a plus.
