BASIC FUNCTION:
Deliver reliable Systems Operations infrastructure and business applications to the business by providing architectural, engineering, and operational support to meet business objectives within global and regional parameters. Define, lead, and coordinate various IT projects employing Project Management disciplines and expertise from pre-project phases through to completion and closing phases.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
.       Engineer, implement, monitor, and operate a cost-effective, secure, enterprise-wide Systems Operations infrastructure and business applications to maximize performance and availability to the business.
.       Define, maintain and review documentation for Systems Operations projects and procedures for uniform implementation and operations throughout the company to meet global and regional standards and policies.
.       Provide advice and guidance, technical, budgetary and operational recommendations to business representatives, team members and other IT departments for definition and evaluation of solutions for Systems Operations infrastructure and applications.
.       Lead and promote cost-effective Systems Operations projects to ensure quality solutions that meet business objectives.
.       Responsible for developing recovery plan to ensure Systems Operations infrastructure and business application availability in case of emergency outage.
.       Report to IT management on costs, effects, ROI, and cost-saving alternatives to ensure effective resource allocation decisions for the Information Technology department.
.       Study, review, evaluate and recommend emerging technologies as required to provide cost-effective, reliable and secure Systems Operations for the business.
.       Troubleshooting/problem solving supporting Active Directory
.       In depth understanding of MS SCCM
.       TCI/IP, DNS, and DHCP
.       Blade Servers:  HP, IBM
.       VMware
.       Technical documentation (French technical translation)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

.       Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
.       Minimum 5 to 7 years experience in large Distributed Systems environment.
.        Travel as required, 7×24 availability, On Call Rotation, Some lifting 50lbs +/-  (servers, monitors, racks, etc.).
.       MCITP, MCM Certified or higher.
.       Expert knowledge of Windows 2003/2008 Server, Active Directory, MSSQL Server, Exchange, SCCM, Symantec Antivirus, SCOM, DFS, FRS, DNS, WINS, VMWare, VB/VBScript/ADSI/ASP programming, basic command scripting, Word/Excel/Access/Powerpoint/Project skills, Server, Storage, and Workstation hardware (HP, IBM, Dell, SAN, Backup).
.       Project management expertise including 3 to 5 years experience organizing and leading IT projects.
.       Customer service oriented, excellent written and verbal communications skills, ability to multi-task, work well with others.
.       Language: English and French essential, Spanish desirable.

Requirements:
