Company is looking for a Shop Foreman with experience in the trade show exhibit industry.

Responsibilities
Assist with Job Estimating-Costing if needed
Order materials for jobs
Coordinating production internally and externally with “ALL” vendors (metal, wood, acrylic, etc).
Fabricate new exhibits
Refurbish existing exhibits
Manage Hour/Cost labor and Cost of Materials
Inventory Control of materials
Schedule jobs
Manage shop labor
Assign work to do on a daily basis
Requirement for more production personnel per job / labor (place ads, keep a labor book)
Keep production in budget
Supervise installation and or dismantle if required (travel)
Assist in client’s meetings if required
Keep shop and warehouse clean and organized
Repairs & maintenance of shop equipment.
Plan and order equipment and technology that will make production cheaper and faster
Make sure the shop is always safe (safety glasses worn floors swept)
Make sure that every shipment date is met.
To do write ups on any employee in shop if needed.
Hand out payroll to employees
Make sure shop is locked and lights off at the end of the day.
Pickup materials if needed
Look for new people-labor to work at the shop
Hire and train new department staff + labor and terminate employees that do not fulfill obligations
Search for new vendors and have an updated network of excellent vendors
Keep the department with all the resources, supplies, technology and equipment required / P.O.’s
Plan, control, organize and direct the Department and people

Requirements:
