Client needs an aerospace industry inspector in the Montreal area with AS9102 experience.

The quality inspector shall travel to various supplier facilities to perform First Article Inspections (FAIs) in accordance with the AS9102 standard. The candidate will ensure the accuracy and completeness of all engineering design requirements records on the AS9102 form. Confirmation that First Article Inspection Record (FAIR) is accurate and completed for a part number or assembly and that all part, product, and characteristic accountability aspects is required prior to approval.
Requirements: Candidate must have knowledge and practical experience of the AS9102 standard. This includes having completed at least five inspections in accordance with the standard. Background in manufacturing in the aerospace or military / defense industries required. Practical experience inspecting aerospace components and assemblies is necessary as well as knowledge of applicable industry standards like IPC-A-610 or equivalent is highly desired. Must have proficient computer skills using Microsoft Word and Excel. Comfortable working as an independent contractor (1099). Relocation is not available
