Basic Function:
Responsible for the assembly, installation and service of high-speed, high-volume food processing machines.

Position Accountabilities:
*       Responsible for the assembly of equipment working from assembly prints or specifications sheets, using standard hand tools.
*       Test completed units to ensure proper functioning and adherence to specifications and is the highest of quality.
*       Perform final inspections on assembled and tested equipment.
*       Responsible for assembly of Peripheral equipment, testing and final inspections.
*       Ability to travel to customer’s plant to service on routine calls and occasionally on more difficult service calls.
*       This position will require roughly 30-35% travel.
*       Submit equipment improvement suggestions to Engineering.
*       Assist the Service department with troubleshooting customer issues.

Requirements:
*       High school education or equivalent, plus knowledge of a specialized field.
*       Three to five years of related experience.
*       Mechanical and Electrical assembly skills (hydraulics, pneumatics, wiring, etc.)
*       Capable of traveling at a moments notice to a customer’s location.
*       Knowledge of assembly drawings, bills of material, data sheets and tool charts necessary.
*       Must be able to use shop math and precision measuring instruments.
*       Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
*       Troubleshooting skills are preferred.
*       Must have the ability to read and follow detailed assembly directions.

Requirements:
1.  High school education or equivalent.
2.  3 + years working on high-speed industrial equipment and with Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic skills.
3.  Experience with shop math and precision measuring instruments as well as blueprints and schematics.
4.  Ability to travel and to work in cold environment.
