Large Hospital and Medical Center System in North Carolina.

Responsible for providing leadership in the overall management of Billing, Claims Processing, Customer Service, Collections, and financial assistance programs for the Patient Financial Services division. Responsible for integrating and/or consolidating various complex, corporate Registration and Business Office systems to produce optimal cash flow and achieve organizational Accounts Receivable goals. Provides comparable reporting tools across differing lines of business ensuring coordination between departments and improved resource utilization. Ensures that all activities are in compliance with Federal, State and all third party regulatory requirements. Contributes toward the PFS goal of collaboration with CRM by providing guidance and training regarding regulatory and contractual
obligations with various third party payers.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field.
Experience Required:
5 – 7 Years
Five to seven years of hospital experience in the Patient Accounting area, with at least two years in a management role required.

Requirements:
1.  Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field.
2.  5+ years hospital experience in Patient Accounting and the recent years in a management role.
3.  Stable work history.
