Consulting firm seeking a Senior Resource Geologist for their Tucson Office.
The successful candidate will have:
. A degree in geology, geological engineering or related field
.A minimum of 10 years of resource estimation experience
.Experience in geologic exploration and evaluation projects, geologic interpretation and modeling, and resource and reserve estimation
.Proficiency with computerized resource estimation tools (Vulcan, Datamine, MineSight, etc)
.Strong geostatistical skills
.Understanding of QA-QC requirements for drilling and underground programs
.Bi-lingual in English and Spanish
.Capable of working on multiple projects, self-motivated and meticulous with excellent verbal and written communications skills
.”Qualified Person” or “Competent Person” status to allow for sign-off on resource statements

The successful candidate will consult on projects in North America and Mexico; other international work may also be involved. Assignments will include geologic models, resource and reserve estimates, technical studies and due diligence projects.

In addition to technical issues, the successful candidate will be expected to establish and maintain client relationships, and work in a team environment. This position requires strong networking and communications skills, and sound interpersonal capabilities.

Requirements:
1.  Bachelor’s degree in geology, geological engineering or related field.
2.  10 + years of resource estimation experience.
3.  Experience in geologic exploration and evaluation projects, geologic interpretation and modeling, and resource and reserve estimation.
4.  Proficiency with computerized resource estimation tools (Vulcan, Datamine, MineSight, etc).
5.  Bi-lingual in English and Spanish.
