Mine Manager
Promote safe work and environmental procedures, attitudes and practices; ensure that the site is run safely and environmentally properly and that environmental regulations and safety policies are followed; oversee and coordinate delivery of the highest quality, lowest cost ore possible; ensure the ore is being mined properly and that mine plan estimates are accurate; coordinate shipping schedules, tonnage requirements and grade; prepare and manage the site budget; monitor and manage project progress against budget and plans; control schedules, resource utilization and costs; oversee and manage the mining contractor; ensure that proper high quality reclamation is being done; and oversee and coordinate special projects and ensure long-term ore supply, and evaluate and coordinate other possible mining properties, joint venture studies, exploration and mine plans.

Qualifications needed include:
Strong leadership Skills;
B.S. degree in Mine Engineering, or related degree with a minimum of 10 years related work experience; strong knowledge of regulatory laws (e.g., NEPA, MSHA, EPA, CWA, etc.); good written and verbal communication skills; excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Skills in macro automation and SAP experience would be a plus. the ability to work with multiple tasks, prioritize and develop sound time lines; good personnel management skills; strong interpersonal skills and able to work well in a fast paced “team” environment; and good problem solving, trouble-shooting, and diagnostic skills.

Requirements:
1.  B.S. degree in Mine Engineering, or related degree.
2.  10 +  years mining experience with the most recent experience in management.
3.  Strong knowledge of regulatory laws (e.g., NEPA, MSHA, EPA, CWA, etc.).
4.  Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Skills in macro automation and SAP experience would be a plus.
