HOT MILL OPERATIONS ENGINEER
Manufacturer is seeking a Mill Operations Coordinator to be responsible for managing the production operations associated with the Main Mill area.  This position is in a hands-on environment.

The person selected will be responsible for:
1.      Interacting with other department supervisors, the maintenance department, and the technical department within the Hot Mill.
2.      Coordinating and collaborating with maintenance on preventive maintenance, special projects
3.      Interacting with the technical department to insure the proper standards and procedures are followed.
4.      Interacting in the activities plant wide necessary to schedule, process, expedite, and transfer in-process material at proper quality, efficiency and at minimum cost.
5.      Managing unit costs & maintain proper inventory levels associated with the Mill areas.
6.      Supervising unit employees and communicate company rules.

The following are a few of the qualifications a candidate should possess:
.       Bachelor’s Degree, Metallurgical or Mechanical engineering preferred
.       2+ years industrial experience needed
.       Experience in metals industry is a plus
.       Good communication skills
.       Flexible, adaptable
.       Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
.       Proficiency in Microsoft Office
.       Purchasing experience a plus
