Company is looking for a Staff Civil Engineer for. Incumbent will design exciting and challenging projects with an emphasis on municipal infrastructure projects including industrial, commercial, and residential improvement and site development. Typical duties include the drafting and design of civil improvements such as grading and drainage; roadways; utilities; foundations and retaining walls; water and waste water treatment; and other municipal, commercial and private projects. Experience with computer generated earthwork cut and fill quantities and balancing is desirable.
Incumbent should be proficient with AutoCAD, familiar with Civil 3D, have organizational and project management skills in a consulting environment, proven design experience within civil drafting of storm water, water supply, wastewater and municipal projects, and can work independently with minimal supervision. Construction management/inspection or materials testing experience is a plus.
Qualifications:
*B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or similar field from accredited university or college
*Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience as a technical civil engineer in a consulting environment
*California E.I.T. certification
*AutoCAD-2007/2008 & LDD proficient; Experience with Civil3D-2008/2010 preferred
*Working knowledge of the conditions and resources in northern California and southern Oregon
*U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
*Valid California Driver’s license by hire date
